One of the newest vacation destination for Festiva Adventure Club members is located on the Upper Cape of one of the most desirable vacation destinations in the northeast and possibly the country; Cape Cod. The Southcape Resort & Club in Mashpee, MA, is a luxurious resort in a peaceful setting with amenities and activities for everyone to enjoy. Spend the days shopping at Mashpee Commons, fishing or boating on the sound, golfing at one of the many nearby courses or just enjoying the amenities right on the property. Southcape Resort & Club is the perfect home base for a vacation at the Cape.

Sunday: Join Kim in the Clubhouse at 10:30 a.m. for coffee and Danish and plenty of information about the area and suggestions for things to do on your vacation.
Monday: Hot Cocoa & Cookies from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. - Join us in the clubhouse for some tasty treats.
Tuesday: Wine & Cheese from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. - Relax and socialize with your neighbors in the clubhouse.
Thursday: Pie Night from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. - Drop by for pie! (In the clubhouse)

For a bird’s eye view of the Cape, the historic Cape Cod Airfield offers bi-plane rides.
Spend a day in Woods Hole and check out the world-renowned center for marine research at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution where fascinating presentations and free seminars are regularly scheduled. At the end of the day, stroll to “The Knob” from Quissett Harbor to watch the sunset. Quissett Harbor (about a 30 min. drive from the resort) is one of the most charming harbors on Cape Cod.
Explore the Cape Cod National Seashore and enjoy the wildlife on the quiet beaches.
Just minutes from the resort, the Waquoit Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve has 2500 acres of open waters, beaches and marshlands. Check out their free self-guided activities and programs.
Take a quiet walk on one of our many hiking trails at Nickerson State Park in Brewster or the Beebe Woods in Falmouth.

Visit Cape Cod Museum of Fine Arts in Dennis where you can view the work of exceptional local artists, and artists with a Cape Cod connection. Wander through the wonderful sculpture garden or plan a visit that allows you to take in a workshop…a vacation that might truly be life-changing!
A piece of Americana that should certainly not be missed if you are in the area is the John F. Kennedy Museum in Hyannis. Learn something new about one of our most beloved presidents and the special place that he held in his heart for Cape Cod. (closed until Feb. 16)
Visit the Cape Cod Potato Chip factory where you can enjoy a free self-guided tour and a free sample of the best potato chips in the world!!
For both children and the “young at heart,” the Cape Cod Children’s Museum is a non-profit organization with fascinating exhibits and a puppet theatre. They even have their own pirate ship. A great place for your children to make new friends!
Those inclined to indulge in a little vacation shopping might enjoy a magical drive down 6A where they can take advantage of the sales in the many quaint stores.
